He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leo Mitchell and Cecile Alfreda Mitchell (Setter); his aunt Catherine Setter; and his sister-in-law Deanna Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Donna Frick; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Cory St. Germain; his grandsons, Easton of Bettendorf and Rowan St. Germain of Bettendorf; his siblings, Robert Mitchell (Sheryl Jahnel) of Cedar Rapids, James Mitchell of Avondale, AZ, Mary Mitchell of Cedar Rapids, Maureen Mitchell of Cedar Rapids and Sue Ann Smith (Jeff) of Fremont, CA; and his nephew Dale Gavin of Cedar Rapids.
Memorials may be directed to the family, who will distribute to Grant Wood Elementary School (Bettendorf) and St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
