She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Snyder and Alberta Ruth Snyder (Crozier); her husband Percy J. Hier of Year's Eve; her son David Reed Hier; her sister Barbara Snyder; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Ostrom.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Lanphere (Mike) of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; her brother Bob Snyder of Mason City, Iowa; and her brothers-in-law, Gene Ostrom of Rochester, Minnesota and Rev. Dennis Hier (Jan) of Willmar, Minnesota..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Davenport Memorial Park (1022 E 39th St, Davenport, IA 52807).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Figge Art Museum of Davenport.
