As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marcia Jean may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Elliott and Sally Elliott (Don Carlos) of Bettendorf; her husband Jeffery K. Haynes; her sons, Sean Elliott Haynes (Makayla) of Bettendorf and Jason Kent Haynes of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Isabell and Ethan; and her sister Kathy Posey (Alan) of Bettendorf.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hope Church (5019 Hopewell Ave, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
