She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schafer and Bertha Schafer (DeGeeter). She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Smith of Bettendorf; and her children, Tracy Streets of Bettendorf, IA, Cathy Vogel (Marc) of LeClaire, IA, David Smith of Rock Island, IL and Doug Smith (Deb Bazer) of Rock Island, IL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
