He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kall and Anna Kall (Blodikas); his close friend Betty Hofreiter; his wife Marylou Tangeman; his granddaughter Julie Stewart; his daughter-in-law Brenda Kall; his stepsister Joann Carter; and his brothers, Albert, Richard and George Kall.

He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Kall of Nokomis, James "Jim" Kall (Barb) of Donahue and Kathy Naber (Steve) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Steven Naber (Carrie) of Des Moines and Jennifer Balvanz (Joe) of Ankeny, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Jacob Stewart, Steven Naber, Isaac Naber, Grady Balvanz and Brooks Balvanz; and his sister Nancy Smith of Watervliet, Michigan..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Asbury United Methodist Church, the American Legion, or to the Humane Society of Scott County.
