He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Gilbert Stevens and Lila Seeds (Lauritzen); his stepfather Frederick Seeds; his son-in-law John Michael; and his brother Frederick Seeds, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy Dana; his children, Katrina Stevens (Charles Trimmier), Neil Stevens (Connie), Margrethe Onderdonk (Allyn), Lenna Dinan (Aaron) and Dagmar Bramer (Grant); and his siblings, Elsa Hill, Shirley Horne, Joanie Nelson, Lila Rae Seeds and Rex Stevens. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial at a later date.
