He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pottebaum and Lillian Pottebaum (Timmerman); his spouse Marvella Puck; his siblings, Marlene Lawler and Dale Pottebaum (Jean); his daughter Kristine; his brother Eugene; his sister-in-law Mary Pottebaum; his sister Kathleen; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Beh, Bernadette Pottebaum and Paul Lawler.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Pottebaum (Donna) of Las Vegas, Carla Osborn (Michael) of Davenport, Sharon Hegenbart (Darin) of Davenport and Pam Carpenter (Doug Ireland) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua (Jessica), Rachel (Larry), Christopher, Matthew (Caitlyn), Haley (Rory), Dallas (Emily), Kerri and Alex; his great grandchildren, Angel, Tyler, Courtney, Cian, Owen, Adalynn, Elijah, Lucy and Camden; and his brothers, Lyle Pottebaum, Gerald Pottebaum (Lynn) and Dennis Pottebaum (Robin).
