He was predeceased by: his parents, Jearl Smith and Charlene Hollinger Smith; and his grandparents, Griffin, Ethel Smith, Charlie and Maude Hollinger.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Jo Smith of Bettendorf; and his children, Griffin Smith (Bliss) and Rachel Nattin (Cain) of Sheridan.
