He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Darby of Bettendorf; his daughters, Kimberly Holt (Tim) of Davenport and Kelly Lafrenz (Jeff) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Aleera and Ollie; his siblings, John Karwath (Margie) of Davenport, Rose Haas of Davenport, Henry Karwath (Maribeth) of Davenport, Kathleen Hathaway of Davenport, Julie Greenwood (Les), Milan and Margaret Conger (John); and his close friend Jim Tappa.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
