She is survived by: her children, Douglas Whiteside (Caryn Berkowitz) of Iowa City, Julie Smith (Steve) of Maple Valley, Susan Shonts (Mike) of Bettendorf and Amy Roberts of Bettendorf, Iowa; her grandchildren, Austin Shonts, Jordan Smith, Sophia Smith and Sierra Roberts; and her stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Ryan Shonts.
