He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Helen Carpa Sr. (Dedo); and his wife Janice Schultz. He is survived by: his children, John Carpa (Bill Van Beene) of Jewett City, Pam VanCamp (Bobby Sturms) of Bettendorf, Laura May (Keith) of Marion and Katie Hippler (Doug Butts) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Brandon VanCamp, Cassidy Barker, Kaitlynne Barker, Rachel Hippler and Payton Hippler; and his sister Fran Harms of Port Huron, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
