He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ross and Annie Ross (Englebrecht); his great grandchild Austin Cook; his sister Helen Wales; and his son Dwight J. Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Stender; his children, Dean Ross (Cindy) of Davenport, Deb Arnholz (Waldo) of Bettendorf and Denise Ross-Borisek of Park View, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kristy Ashby (Shawn), Jennifer Jasper, Brandon Ross (Steph), Caleb Jasper (Audri), Linsey Jackson (Eric) and Ember Daxon (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Brianna Noneman, Keegan Holdorf, Sydney Ashby, Grant Smith, Chase Jasper, Kyah Ross, Kruz Ross, Adelynn Jasper, Coltyn Jasper, Bryson Jackson, Christian Jasper, Carson Jackson, Maya Daxon and Maddie Jackson; and his brother Harold Ross (Barb).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
