Gordon Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2021, at the age of 97, Gordon Smith of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Smith and Iona Smith (Rich); his son Christopher D. Smith; and his sisters, Jeanne Maim and Shirley Therkildsen.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Brandt (Gary); his grandchildren, Christina Kelly (Mike) of Bettendorf, Nicholas Brandt (Caitlin) of Bettendorf and Stefanie Beason (Chris) of Bettendorf; his great grandchildren, Keir, Krue, Kealan Kelly, Theo, Eden, Otis and Otto Brandt; and his brother Robert V. Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
