Gloria M. Bender Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria M. Bender of Bettendorf, Iowa, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Meyer and Malinda Meyer (Grill); her husband Charles "Charlie" Bender; her grandson Kaylen Eickstaedt; and her siblings, Harriet, Karen, Delbert, Harris and Kenneth.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Bender (Evelyn) of Davenport and Christine Eickstaedt (Andrew) of Casa Grande, AZ; her grandchildren, Steven Bender (Anna), Kimberly Bennett (Cory), Kari Bender and Jennifer Eickstaedt (Matt White); her great grandchildren, Emilie, Evan Bender, William Bennett and Joel Bender; her stepgreat-grandson Austin Bennett; and her brother Don Meyer of Forest Park, IL..
