He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weers and Ocie Weers Sr. (King); his wife Lois J. Smith; his son Terry; and his siblings, Chris, Menard and Gertrude.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy "Kit" Gleason of Bettendorf; his granddaughters, Robin Dye (Jeremy) of Broomfield and Danielle Gleason-King of Bettendorf; and his great grandchildren, Tayler, Khloe, Shannon, Sawyer and Sparrow.
