She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Hewitt and Lucille Hewitt (Mayer); and her sister Judy Hewitt. She is survived by: her brothers, Terry L. Hewitt (Trudi) of Sahuarita, AZ and James A. Hewitt of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or St. John Vianney Church.
