He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Sterling Clark and Ione Hynds Clark; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Salisbury; his children, Polly Wood (Chuck), Gary Clark Jr. and John Adams Clark (Nicole); his grandchildren, Meredith, Andrew Wood, Stefan Clark (Melissa), Kristen Huebbe (Clinton), Zachary Clark, Emily Kahle, Kaitlyn Degner and Ciara Dowdy; and his great grandchildren, Riley Huebbe and Owen Clark.
