Florabelle Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florabelle Smith of Bettendorf, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Watson and Thomas Watson; her husband James H. Smith; and her sister Virginia Ahrens of Grinnell. She is survived by: her children, Jim (Judy) of Bettendorf and Jacque Weindruch (Dan) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Jennifer Forsythe (Jack), Joan Hoch (Eric), Nathan Weindruch and Julia Weindruch (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Ben, Annie Forsythe, Tom, Sami Hoch, Jett and Crew Weindruch. She is also survived by animals, especially dogs.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA, Bettendorf Presbyterian Church or First Presbyterian Church, Davenport.The family requests anyone attending to please wear a mask.
