It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth O. Glynn (Bettendorf, Iowa), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Willers and Paula Willers (Wittig); her husband Michael R. Glynn (Dick); her children, Kathleen Glynn and David Glynn; her daughter-in-law Linda Glynn; and her siblings, Hilda Whalen, Dorothy Plagmann and Nicky Willers.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Glynn, Peggy Glynn, Denis Glynn, Jack Glynn (Teresa), Mary Byram (Robert), Michael Glynn (Diane), Paul Glynn (Lisa) and Laura Carlough (Bill); and her brother John Willers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
