He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wingerter and Viola Wingerter; his brothers, Harold Wingerter (Vivian), Bernard Wingerter and Mickey Wingerter (Lucille); his daughter Barbara Wirtjes-Sullivan; and his significant other Beverly McCarty.
He is survived by: his former wife Frances VanHoosier; his children, Rita Schnoor (Greg) and Rich Wingerter; and his siblings, John Wingerter (Sandra) and Ramona Froehner. He is also survived by friends and family, attending the events of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
