It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lucille Morris of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Worton and Lucille Worton (Huffman); her former husband George Louis Schwerdtfeger; her husband Chester H. Morris; her children, Linda K. Schwerdtfeger, Thomas W. Schwerdtfeger, Donald G. Schwerdtfeger, Richard C. Schwerdtfeger and Randy S. Schwerdtfeger; and her siblings, Marilyn Jean Vance, Diana Oden and Edwin Jesse Dennis.
She is survived by: her sons, George L. Schwerdtfeger Jr. of Bettendorf, Ronald D. Schwerdtfeger of Muscatine, John David Schwerdtfeger of Salem and Charles L. Schwerdtfeger of Mission Viejo, California; and her siblings, Sonja Sherrie Strongstad of Effingham, Illinois, Richard Owen Charles Worton of Dufer and Owen "Jack" Worton Jr. of Wheeler, Illinois.
