We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Donald W. McGuiness of Bettendorf, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. H. "Cyrus Hugh" McGuiness and Helen McGuiness (Streib); his son Mark; his mother-in-law Kathryn Zilko; and his sister-in-law Pat McGuiness.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Laurie Bakkum (Mark) of Cedar Rapids, Kelly Ouverson (Doug) of Naples, FL and Christine Hammes (Shane) of East Moline; his daughter-in-law Karen McGuiness of Columbus Junction, IA; and his siblings, John of Venice, FL, Michael (Mickie) of Hayward, WI and Martha McGuiness of Des Moines. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (417 Main St, Davenport, IA 52801).
