He is survived by: his daughters, Gretchen Smith (Randy) and Wendy Bolling; his grandchildren, Alex Bolling, Megan Smith, Maxwell Smith, Benjamin Smith and Meier Smith; his former wife Susan Gates; his brother-in-law Jeff Seitz (Susie); his nephews, Andy Seitz and Adam Seitz; and his niece Lindsey Burke.
