It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Fry of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jeffrey Mark Mahoney; her parents, Earld Soldmann Sr. and Olga Doucet; and her siblings, LaVergne Stone (Edward) and Earld "Whitey" Soldmann Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Mahoney (Kathy) of Durant, IA, Dawn Barlett of Moline, IL, Deborah Williams of Moline, IL, Eugene Fry (Konnie) of Colona, IL and Jen Schoech (Lalen) of East Moline, IL; and her close friend Carol Ehlers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the QC Symphony.
