He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Arney and Elizabeth Arney (Stoakes); his sister Naomi Thede; his siblings-in-law, Norm Thede, Claudia Arney and Jerrine Arney; and his son-in-law Bob Busbey.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Joey" Ausdal; his friends, Carter, John and Bob; his children, Gregory Arney (Cheri) of Bettendorf, Holly McCoy (Jeff) of Bettendorf, Jennifer Busbey of Waukesha and Sara Steil (David) of Keystone, Iowa; and his brothers, Craig Arney of Golden Valley, Paul Arney of Postville and Herb Arney (Teresa) of Albion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quad-Cities Bicycle Club (QCBC).
