He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassan Assadi and Sherafat Jaberi; and his brother Shahrokh. He is survived by: his wife Walda Gaylord; his son Armand Assadi (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Leila, Ariana and Zoya; and his siblings, Cyrus Assadi (Pari), Kavoos Assadi (Saiedeh), Kurosh Assadi (Ramin), Susan Mina, Soheila Assadi and Mohsen Assadi (Niloofar). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family in consideration of an educational fund in Daryoush's name to be established in the future.
