She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Needham and Eva Needham (Larimer); her husband Charles "Duane" Smith; and her siblings, Frances Whittington, Lawrence Needham, Lewis Needham, Jean Wynn, Richard "Gail" Needham, Marcia Derby and David Needham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie (Mike Ducey), Linda (Al Frederiksen) and Jeannie (Paul Taylor); her grandchildren, Chrissy Dieckman (Ryan), Mike Ducey (Stef), Matt Frederiksen (Erika Copeland), Ryan Frederiksen (Melissa), Danielle Ott (Caleb), Cassie Barham, John Taylor (Michelle Hames), Michael Taylor and Shelby Taylor; her siblings-in-law, Betty Needham and Marvin Smith (Joyce); and her close friend Carolyn Busetto. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Milan, or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
