She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hughes (Vern) of Cary, NC, Kirk Barber (Violet) of Broken Arrow, OK and Mark Barber (Tina) of Tulsa, OK; her brothers, Jerry Kirkpatrick (Judie) of Bettendorf, Charles Seifert (Janice) of Granbury, TX, Mick Seifert (Bernie) of Clinton, Steve Seifert (Vickie) of Davenport, Jack Seifert (Teresa) of Albany and Todd Seifert (Shelly) of DeWitt; and her grandchildren, Hayden Hughes, Erin Rucker, Shannon Massey, Anna McCall, Kristina Covington, Karmen Nystrom, Josh Barber and Dylan Barber. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and so many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (417 6th Ave, DeWitt, IA 52742). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St Croix Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
