He is survived by: his mother Claudette Short of Colorado; his wife Shannon Emmick; his daughters, Sophia Muckenfuss and Ellie Rodruck; his sister Natalie Lyle of Colorado; his nephew Nathaniel Duff (Allison, family: Alexander); his aunts, Marie Thomas (Frank) of South Carolina and Simone Harbosky; and his cousin Charlie Short of Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
