Betty L. Spies Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty L. Spies of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Voehl and Lenora Voehl (Riessen); and her spouse Allyn E. Spies. She is survived by: her children, Sheri Stutesman (Brad) of Naperville, IL, Julie Spies of Davenport, IA and Jeff Spies (Lorina) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Tom Stutesman (Ariane), Dan Stutesman (Caitlin), Greg Spies (Courtney) and Carly Spies; and her great grandchildren, Elisa and Luca Stutesman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2136 N Brady St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Paul Lutheran Church Davenport.
