With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony J. Castro of Bettendorf, Iowa, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Castro and Rebecca Castro (Cordero); his brother Chuck; and his brother-in-law Robert Lowry. He is survived by: his wife Julia Prignitz of Bettendorf; his children, Tony A. Castro of Cedar Rapids, Teresa Taubenfeld (Marc) of Dallas and Tom Castro (Maria) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, William, Christopher, Tia Taubenfeld, Scott (Andrea) and Annalise Castro; and his siblings, Rita Lowry of Bettendorf, David Castro (Ruthann) of Bettendorf and Richard Castro (Cindy) of Bettendorf.
