She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Rector and Ethel Rector (Pritchard); her husband J. Bernard Palmquist; her sons, Keith and Jeffrey; and her brother Ed Rector.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Palmquist (Kathryn Nuss) of Cedar Falls, IA, Tom Palmquist of Red Oak, IA and Joyce Hargis (Al) of Council Bluffs, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Palmquist, Melanie Gravdal (Brian), Melissa Rindone, Jessica Pelzer (Jared) and Aaron Rindone (Sasha); her stepgrandchildren, Al Hargis Jr., Erin Kollenkark (Erik TeStrake) and Nina Sweeney (Chris); her great grandchildren, Addison, Piper, Marlee, Oliver, Jaxton, Chrisha, Caleb, Rose, Lex, Brandt and Luke; and her niece Cindy Wall. She is also survived by other relatives and wonderful friends.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we will be following CDC guidelines and the emergency proclamation by our Governor in allowing only 10 people in our facility at a time while practicing social distancing.
Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to Red Oak Good Samaritan or Alzheimer's Association.
