He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Manders and Vivian Manders (Junk); his wife Constance M. Knepper of Raphael's Cathedral; his son Douglas; his brother Larry Manders; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Franzen, Dennis Palm, Nicholas Knepper, David Knepper and Loras Pat Knepper.
He is survived by: his sons, David Manders of Zwingle, IA, Donald Manders of Dubuque and Dennis Manders; his sister Lois Franzen of Maquoketa, IA; and his sister-in-law Catherine "Kate" Palm of Dubuque, IA.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (102 1st St SE, Epworth, IA 52045). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
