He is survived by: his children, Richard (Mary Lou) of Bernard, Tom of Zwingle, Connie of Cedar Rapids, Pat Ryan (Marty) of Waterloo, Nora (Lee) of Ft. Worth, TX, Jim (Linda) of Austin, TX, Chris Ehlinger (Glen) of Marion, Kathy Frerichs (Chris) of Cedar Rapids and Susan of Chicago, IL.; his siblings, Lois Houselog of Dubuque and Frank Donovan of Santa Rosa, CA; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Dunne (Mary Jean), Jean Dunne of Bellevue and Donna Sturm (Maury) of Dubuque. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
