He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond William and Esther Martha Sieck Hillyer; his wife Patricia Ann Horstmann; and his children, David Hillyer (Jeannie) of Bennett, Iowa, Deanna Welch (Roger) of Mechanicsville, Doreena Crock (Craig) of Tipton and Deborah Howell (Tony) of Muscatine, Iowa.
