He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Pals of Belmond; his children, Deb Olson (Ole) of Dows, Doug Pals of Belmond, Denise McFadden of Ankeny and Deanna Kraft of Renwick; his grandchildren, Ryan Olson, Andrew Kraft (Tess), Abby Heggen (Alec), Delaney McFadden and Jacob McFadden; his brother Gary Pals (Darlene) of Belmond; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Pals of Belmond. He is also survived by siblings and in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
