She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wenzel and Grace Wenzel (Dirksen); her sons, Dylan, Dean and Dennis; her siblings, Fred Wenzel (MaeFerne), Kathryn Tabbert (Eldred), Mary Servantez (Tony) and George Wenzel; and her brother-in-law Donovan Ash.

She is survived by: her husband Vernon Dean Dippel; her children, Dawn Dippel (Scott Rath) of North Liberty, IA, Daryl Dippel (Pacita Philips) of Ankeny, IA, Dixie Daniels (Tim) of Belmond, IA and Dan Dippel of Belmond, IA; her siblings, Jim Wenzel (Joyce) of Alexander, IA, Robert Wenzel (Carolyn) of Alexander, IA, Gladys Vancura (Chuck) of Jackson, MN and Phyllis Ash of Grundy Center, IA; and also Mildred Wenzel of Belmond, IA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandsons; her deceased brother.
