It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Busick of Belmond, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Busick to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Longseth and Lillian Longseth (Schmidt); her husband Robert "Bob" Busick; her son Brian Busick; her brother-in-law Ray Busick; and her father-in-law Bud Busick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Busick (Shane Laycock) and Julie Cunningham (Eden); her grandchildren, Anthony Bock (Abbi), Ciara Bock, Raeanna Busick, Isaiah Busick and Tyson Cunningham; her great grandchildren, Mateo Aguirre, Henry and Teddy Bock; her sister-in-law Della Busick; and her nephews, Steve, John, Warren, Wayne and Mike Busick. She is also survived by extended family and wonderful friends.
So in true Karen style, the family asks that everyone wear whatever makes you comfortable and in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be directed to your local food pantry.
