He was predeceased by: his mother Mattie Stoffer (Schmidt); his wife Irene Stoffer; his parent Engle Stoffer; his siblings, Jacob Stoffer, Lester Stoffer, Anne Ellefson and Arlene Pals; his siblings-in-law, Bobbi Stoffer, Laura Stoffer, Genevieve Smith, Alberta Middleton, Dorthea Burka, Harold Ellefson, Robert Pals, George "Coonie" Smith, Richard Middleton and John Burka; and his parents-in-law, Claude and Clara Thayer.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Stoffer (Shirley) of Belmond and Roxy Rubendall (Leon) of Sac City; his grandchildren, Shelly Simm (Chad), Cheri Hewitt (Brian), Angela Fischer and Clay Stoffer (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Jordan Fischer, Makenzie Stoffer, Riley Fischer, Joshua Simm, Brady Hewitt, Caden Stoffer and Carly Fischer.
