She is survived by: her husband Hank; and her children, Eugene Gerdes, Susan Ammerman (Roger) of Klemme, IA, Randi Gerdes (Lynn) of Clear Lake, TX and Debra Halfpop (Robert) of Belmond, IA. She is also survived by her children, grand and great grandchildren, and other family and friends.
