It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. (Johnson) Been of Belmond, Iowa, who passed away on April 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Johnson and Mary Edith Johnson (Lutman); her husband Merle C. Been; her siblings, Cleone Thompson (Joe), Marian (Dale Reynolds), Keith, Clare (Louise), Lawrence, Merrill, Dean (Cleone) and Marvin Johnson (Willie); her parents-in-law, Harley and Leona Been; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Dutton (Charles), Maudeene Swinehart (Bud), Marrabell Schultz (Earl), Marilyn Tindle (Max), Mardell Donner (Don), Marvin, Mark, Mac (Nila), Milo Been (Naomi) and Kenny Hosfield; and her grandson Corey Been.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Been (Jeri) of Clarion, Jonel Worden (Brian) of Belmond and Rodney Been (Laurie) of Belmond; her grandchildren, Linzey Nosbush (Clayton Wieben), Kevin Been (Allyson), Lane Worden (Katie), Travis Been (Kaiti), Landon Worden (Jonica Hernandez), Rory Dillon, Luke Worden (Spenser Becker), Dana Been and Nathan Been; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Chantel Nosbush, Natalie, Harper, Nora Been, Addy Hernandez, Avett, Juniper Been, Ella and Landry Worden; and her sisters-in-law, Chrystal Johnson of Waverly and Lillian Been of Palm Harbor.
Per Doris' request, she would like memorials to go towards the B-K Scholarship II Foundation, Iowa Specialty Hospital Foundation, Tingley Community Center, or any donation of your choice.
