He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Wolters and Violet Wolters (Kaduce); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Olson, Peggy Wolters and Larry Michaelson.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Davis; his son DeJay Wolters (Shannon) of Goodell, IA; his grandsons, Jason and Darren David Wolters; and his siblings, Donna Michaelson of Rochester, MN, Linda Olson (David) and Gary Wolters (Rachel) of Forest City, IA.
