He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Hansen and Adela Hansen (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Schroder; his daughters, Anisa Hansen and Abbie Hansen (Tony); his granddaughters, Kaylee, Keelin, Kelsey and Hollin; and his sisters, Lavonne Hansen Burgard and Ruby Osier (Ed).
In lieu of flowers and other customary remembrances, Al's family suggests memorial donations be directed to William R. Bliss Cancer Center or Israel Family Hospice House and sent to the family's attention at Ewing Funeral Home, P.O. Box 301, Belmond, Iowa 50421.
