He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smothers; his stepsons, Jeffery, Jamie and Brian Kuhle; his grandchildren, Steve, Ashley, Tanner, Lanie, Samson, Ella and Maya; his siblings, Dennis Post of Dubuque and Linda Wilson of Dubuque; and his niece Cindy Choudhary of Waukee, IA. He is also survived by 9 other nieces and nephews, along with many in-laws.
