He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Butch" and Genevieve Mangler (Leckband); his brother Donald; and his parents-in-law, Stephen Haferbier, Julie Cooper (Steve), Truman Greve, James Cusimano, Lester and Leona Haferbier.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Haferbier; his friends, Lynn and Brian; his children, Jennifer of Fairfield, IA and Chad of Bellevue, IA; his sister Joyce Spormann of Seattle, WA; his sisters-in-law, Jodi Mangler, Beverly Cusimano, Marlene Greve and Carol Haferbier; and his cousin Judy Draper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
