He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartzell McAtee and Lucille McAtee (Miller); his wife Patricia Cornwell; his son Kenneth; his son-in-law Bill Berendes; his brothers, Patrick and Dean; and his brother-in-law Ed Kline.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen "Kay" Thoeni; his children, Julie Nachtman (Jerry "Doc") of LaMotte, Janie Berendes of Bellevue, Scott McAtee (Jeni) of Bellevue and John McAtee of White Deer, PA; his grandchildren, Kenny Nachtman, Joey Nachtman (Lana Otting), Cody Nachtman (Allison), Audrey Berendes (Jared Anderson), Courtney Weinschenk (Matthew), Morgan McAtee (Lucas LeGrand), Tyler McAtee (Dana), Will McAtee and Samantha McAtee; his great grandchildren, Lane, Emma and Thea; and his sisters, Uva Mae Klein (Dale) and Sherrill Kline.
