She is survived by: her daughter Jody Scheckel of Maquoketa; her grandchildren, Nitessa and Nikita; her siblings, Marilyn Clasen (Merlin "Pete") of Bellevue, Patricia Meis (Gerald) of Iowa City, David Scheckel of Bellevue, Bonnie Coakley (Bertrand "Butch") of LaMotte, Ruth Hopson (Richard) of San Diego, CA, Tom Scheckel (Pat) of Bellevue and Jane Nemmers (Ron) of Dubuque; and her sisters-in-law, Lou Ann of Bellevue and Julie Scheckel of Bellevue. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
