He is survived by: his spouse JoAnn Wenzel; his children, Paula Leavens (Gus) of Chadwick, George Schlecht (Cindy) of Bellevue and Frank Schlecht (June) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Laurie Schroeder (Steve), Erin Mohr (Alfie), Brandon Schlecht (Kerissa), Mathew Schlecht (Ashley), David Schlecht and Kimberly Schlecht; and his sister Rita Weigert. He is also survived by his parents, and brother.
