It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imelda M. (Manderscheid) Kueter of Bellevue, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Manderscheid and Mary Manderscheid (Manders); her husband Greg; her grandson Jacob Wolter; and her siblings-in-law, Nester, Paul, Milo (Mary), Ralph, Quentin Schumacher, Bernice Ehlers and Ceil Hager (Lorin).
She is survived by: her children, Lila Rieckens (Tom), Nancy Ploessl (Joe), Stan Kueter (Sandy), Mick Wolter (Mike), Chuck Kueter (Sharon) and Jan Brinker (Dave) of Bellevue; and her grandchildren, Tracy Oliver (Mark), Katie Peterson (Michael), Scott Rieckens (Taylor), Brett Ploessl (Tami), Travis Kueter (Cortney), Jesse Kueter (Jackie), Jared Kueter (Lindsey), Tyler Kueter (Megan), Nathan Wolter (Megan), Nic Kueter (Heidi), Ben Kueter (Shannon), John Kueter (Lori), Ryan Brinker (Nelly), Alex Brinker (Laura) and Lindsey Wolter Herman. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph's Church or Hospice of Dubuque in Imelda's memory.
