He is survived by: his wife Rita Kirchberg of Kieler; his children, Kevin Hansen (Julie) of Bellevue, Karen Ploessl (Daniel) of Bellevue, Kelly Siegel (Scott) of DeWitt, Iowa and Kurt Hansen (Lori) of DeWitt, Iowa; his grandchildren, Mike, Megan, Samuel, Jessica, Matthew, Katelyn, Colin, Jacob and Cory; his great grandchildren, Stacy, Wyatt, Connor, Micah, Emmitt and Paisley; his siblings, Virgil Hansen (Melita), William Hansen of Maquoketa, Evelyn Decker (Vince), Darla Kay Decker (Louis) of Zwingle, Mary Young and Pam LaPrell of Dubuque; and his siblings-in-law, Veronica Hansen and Ray Owens. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
